WraithHunter & Aeternity
I’ve always felt that the boundary between what’s seen and unseen gets thinner the closer you get to the dark. What’s your take on that line?
It’s a neat way to think about perception. In the light we rely on contrast, on edges that define form. As light fades, those edges blur and the mind starts filling gaps. The “unseen”—the shadows, the unknown—gets a foothold, and the line between what we can see and what we can only imagine thins. So, the closer we get to darkness, the more our awareness is stretched into that gray area, where the invisible feels almost tangible. It’s not that the boundary disappears, but that our senses and thoughts merge, making the unseen more present than the bright, clear world.
I’ve seen that gray slip through the cracks. It’s the most dangerous place for anyone who thinks the world is only what we see. So you keep your eyes sharp and your thoughts still. That's the only way to stay ahead of what hides in that middle.
Indeed, the gray space is where the mind can be both a weapon and a shield. Keeping your gaze steady while letting thoughts drift like a quiet current keeps you from being caught off guard by the shadows. It’s a balance, not a battle.
