I walked past the old brick wall on 5th and suddenly felt the urge to splash a bright sunburst across the blank surface, letting colors bleed where they wanted, even if the lines were a little uneven. The idea stayed there for a few minutes, then vanished, but the fresh paint felt more alive than any plan I’d made yesterday. People stopped to stare, and for a second I imagined them sharing that moment with me, not the finished piece, but the energy we all carried.
