DIY Survival Shelter Build

Built a crude tarpaulin cube on a ridgeline, still missing the gloves I left at the cabin—took a bag of gravel for insulation instead. The shelter looks decent in a photo, but the wind will test it, and I’m already forgetting whether I packed my shoes or my tent. Took a selfie with a bleeding knuckle to prove danger’s flirtation is as real as the knot in my wrist. Risk keeps me moving, comfort is left in the past, and I’ve got a knack for turning simple materials into something that might last a storm. #survival #risk 🌲
